Mission

Trauma 2 Triumph’s goal is to provide monetary support, resources, and an understanding community to physically wounded victims of violent crime. While your well-being is our top priority, Trauma 2 Triumph will also focus on advocacy, education, and implementing positive change in our communities.

About Us

When co-founder Mia Tretta was just 15 years old she was shot and wounded in a shooting that occurred at her high school. In the months following the shooting her parents searched for places to help their daughter heal, both physically and emotionally. They found many wonderful organizations but they found a lack of resources for their daughters specific situation. That lead Mia and her mother Tiffany to start Trauma 2 Triumph. They know first hand the mental, physical, and monetary toll being and taking care of a wounded survivor can put on a family and they would like to ease that journey for somebody else.

While we are not happy to have met you this way, we are glad you found us and we hope we can be of service in your healing journey.

How to Apply

SCHOLARSHIP, FELLOWSHIP, EDUCATION.

Trauma 2 Triumph also recognizes just how hard it is to be a wounded survivor.  Mia missed so much school because of her injuries.  She has had difficulty working certain jobs because of her new PTSD so Trauma 2 Triumph will provide monetary scholarships yearly. As well as provide lifelong friendship, mentorship, and advocacy opportunities.

Are you under 21 and have been a wounded victim of violent crime? Been accepted into a trade school, college or university? Please tell us in a 1-page essay how you plan to turn your trauma into triumph. Also, provide one reference, either a counselor, teacher, doctor, or employer. Must be submitted by June 1st, 2025.

Those who have experienced traumas in their life CAN be whole again, if they find purpose. Please reach out and join our outreach team.
